Theo Xydas
Theo is a Principal at Octopus Ventures, where he focuses on growth-stage investments. He works across sourcing new opportunities, supporting fundraising and leading investments, with a particular focus on next-generation financial infrastructure and AI-enabled services.
Theo brings 15 years of investing and advisory experience across venture capital, growth equity and investment banking. He joined Octopus Ventures from Fintech Growth Fund, and previously held roles at Mouro Capital and Target Global. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with leading European technology businesses across payments, insurtech, software and financial infrastructure.
Theo holds an MBA from London Business School and dual degrees in Science and Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
