Ruchir Shah
Ruchir joined the Octopus Ventures B2B Software team in 2023, excited to work with businesses at the scale-up stage on their growth journey. He’s particularly interested in the companies disrupting traditional industries, bringing outdated processes up-to-date and working to reach previously overlooked customer segments.
Ruchir’s expertise is founded in experience, with previous roles including Associate at CIBC Capital Markets and Investor at Claret Capital Partners, where he led debt investments into growth-stage software companies across Europe. He’s also been part of the Deal Advisory team at KPMG, where he focused on financial due diligence.
A qualified ACA, Ruchir has completed two levels of the CFE, in addition to his BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick. Outside work, you can find him cheering on Liverpool FC, or indulging his love of cookery.
