Matthieu Vallin
Matthieu sources startups that will transform healthcare and life sciences. He works with entrepreneurs with a drive to bring the most benefits to quality of care and patient outcomes, from consumer health to bio.
Before Octopus Ventures, he worked in consulting, advising clients such as healthcare company Johnson & Johnson, conglomerate Philips, medical tech company Carl Zeiss Meditec and tech company Fujitsu, on innovation strategy, startup partnerships and acquisitions.
Matthieu maintains close links with academic and research institutions such as London Business School and Imperial College London, from which he holds a degree in civil engineering.
