Maiuran Chandrakumaran
Maiuran joined the Octopus Ventures Deep Tech team in 2022, from the Family Office of East African Holding (EAH), where he collaborated with entrepreneurs to disrupt existing markets and create new industries in a rapidly transforming economy.
A graduate from the University of Cambridge with a degree in mathematics, Maiuran has long been fascinated by the transformative potential of technology. After stints in investments at BlackRock and Barclays, he discovered his passion for working with early stage companies at EAH. In his role at Octopus Ventures, he’s excited to support founders as they turn their pioneering innovations into solutions for real-world problems.
When he’s not in the office, Maiuran can be found turning his hand to any sport you care to mention, experimenting in the kitchen or getting to know new places – preferably without a plan.
