Helping teen health: luna

As Women’s History Month draws to a close, we’re celebrating the incredible work being done by luna.

We’re living in an age of information abundance. From Instagram to TikTok, teens are flooded with content. Even as new horizons of creativity have opened, challenges for teens have changed shape. All of luna’s advise is fact-checked by health professionals, providing a beacon of truth amidst the social media landscape. Finding a safe and trustworthy source can be hard. That’s where luna steps in.

luna’s platform is dedicated to offering the support female-identifying and non-binary young people need to understand their health.   All of luna’s advice is fact-checked by health professionals and educators – people with direct experience working with teens, and a vocational interest in their welfare – providing a beacon of truth amidst against the social media landscape.

Empowering teens

Luna’s reliable, judgement free advice is anonymous, while the app offers no scope for its community to connect directly with one another. It has been designed to keep teens safe, empowering them to ask any question without worrying about posting on a public forum. All previously posted questions are archived, anonymously, allowing the community to search for answers.

Pre-seed support

When we first encountered the luna team and learned more about their mission, we knew we had to get behind them. They’re dedicated to creating the most educated and empowered generation ever when it comes to health and well-being, through an app that teens are proud to use. We got onboard at the very early stages, offering pre-seed funding as well as support to help their platform grow.

This Women’s History Month, we’re proud to champion a business working so tirelessly to support the young people poised to shape the future.
