Vicky Booth
Vicky joined the Octopus Ventures People + Talent team in 2025, with over a decade’s experience building teams across the UK and US, excited to pursue her professional passion: partnering with early-stage founders to build high-performing, exceptional teams from day one.
A committed supporter of start-ups and scale-ups, Vicky spent five years at Octopus Ventures backed company, Ometria, building the business’s global talent function from the ground up.
More recently, Vicky has taken advisory roles at early-stage companies, including Borderless (supported by Octopus Ventures pre-seed team). There she helped the founding team lay the perfect base for growth, developing the hiring and people strategies they needed to scale.
A graduate in History and French from the University of York, Vicky’s passion for history and languages is very much still with her. When she’s not in the office, she’s most likely to be found dancing salsa, exploring London – or further afield, travelling the world.
