Samantha Ling
Samantha joined Octopus Ventures in 2008, back when we were still establishing our first funds. She’s now Director of Operations and Fund formation.
This includes managing various stakeholders and investors in the funds we manage, launching all new funds or fundraise offers, and overseeing a wide range of investment and portfolio processes.
She’s worked with a lot of international teams and clients, and has led and implemented global sales, support processes and tech projects at companies like broker PVM Oil and registrar and classification society Det Norske Veritas, and a major charity.
Samantha’s scope is very wide – she’s worked on almost every investment and realisation the team’s ever made, worked with every fund Board, and managed relationships with key advisers, and major investors.
Outside of work, you can find her exploring the world and squeezing in as much time with her dog as possible. She loves great food, live music, theatre, gym classes and weightlifting.
